Missfire / poor idle ignition, fuel what????
Well ive been working on my 93 gt for a while now I have since recently put new motorcraft spark plugs, new msd super conductor 8mm wires with msd cap rotor and msd blaster coil, brand new idle air control motor and brand new egr. I have also replaced all the vacum lines as well because they were pretty brittle. Besides a bbk inner fedner cold air the car is pretty stock. When started the car fires right up but then starts to stumble on its face and sounds like its not firing on all cylinders. With the windows down you can smell the fuel like it is running very rich as well. Now it only does it at idle once driving down the road it runs fine no hesitation when throttle is applied no stumbling it runs very good and sometimes when started or pulling up to a signal it idles down perfect and runs fine. What could be my situation here im not too sure what to be looking at could it possible be an o2 sensor?

On fuel rail there is a cap (black like on your tires)take it off and hook pressure gauge. Check with vacum hose on and off at pressure regulator.(engine running) Was asking for EEC1V tests KOEO,KOER, cylinder balance, and KOEM. Go to SBFTech for detailed information on how to. I can't over state the value of doing all these tests. This will prevent the spending of money on unnecessary parts, adding to fustration and a empty bank account. Post results. Then you will get a proper answer.

Ok awesome thank you im going to buy a fuel pressure tester tomorrow and let you guys know how that comes out. My check engine light came on for the first time today so I was going to buy an obd1 scanner. Theres some on ebay for like $30 bucks are those any good? Im just waiting for the admin at sbftech to approve me so i can research the koe and koer tests. I also pulled my spark plugs today and on both banks the electrodes are white like its running really lean???

Fuel pressure is not a issue. Now on to what may be the issue.Code 66 no signal from MAF. Disconnect plug at MAF check and see if pin has pushed out of connector. Buy a can of MAF cleaner $5. Spray the MAF inside. Recheck how it runs. Go to veryuseful.com and follow wires for MAF to ECM. Check for continuity. Cylinder balance test is not a compression test. Enter after KOER test. PM coming
