my fan wont turn off

the radiator fan on my car turns on when the key is set to on... some one wired it to do that. does any one know how to hook it up to a thermostate

buy a thermostat and read the instructions. The fan is not stock.

It just puts a strain on the charging system man, calm down, what you need is a relay to wire in with a thermostat so it only comes on when the car reaches a certain temperature. They can be bought at any parts store they're called "electric fan control/relay/thermostat"
