Default Spark plugs jumping fire

I have a 95 mustang gt 5.0 and have some electrical problems that are just beginning to be a real headache.I bought this car about 6 months ago from the original owner,he said the car had been sitting for a while because he was older and couldn't get in and out good anymore but nothing was wrong with it.Since i've had it there is fire coming from the bottom of all 8 spark plug wires next to the motor and around the base of the coil. I have changed the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs spark plug wires, pip, air filter and it still is doing it. Any suggestions would be great.

The fire is coming off the wires at the bottom where it connects to the spark plug at the motor. It is a bright blue flame

Does the car run? Sounds like you have a short in your distributor, a wire is ruptured, maybe you have your wires in the wrong order....I'm not sure.

It's hard to help with out seeing the problem. Blue flame is usually is associated with spark/arc. So it's obvious you have a spark/arc discharge. That's the best advice I could offer without seeing the problem....Good luck!

Get a new coil and wire brush the coil bracket to fender bolt holes clean and coil to bracket for good ground contact.

Did you ever figure out the problem. I am having the same problem right now. I can completely set the timing right because of it jumping. I had my motor taken out to be replaced but just ended up putting a new gasket kit and timing chain kit on it.
