stock lower intake
#2
A GT40 top will not bolt up to a stock bottom. The 8 intake holes on the stock intake are oval shaped and all lined up straight. Not offset like the GT40/Cobra/Explorer.
The heads are worth 200 bucks if in decent shape. They do require special headers due to spark plug location. The non-P GT40's are a direct bolt-on but usually do not have the cross-over holes in the back for the smog pump pipe.

pretty one too, and the heads are pretty similar the biggest difference being the egr and plugs, I've worked on p heads and the p stands for pain in the *** because those plugs weren't fun with headers
