Hey i have a 1990 5.0 LX auto trans and when i bought the car the trans went out about a month after. I ended up rebuilding the stock tranny and now it takes a lot to get the car moving. Its not slipping but i have to let it roll before i step on the gas so the trans doesnt jump. anyone kno why it does this?

i think most people have 5spds here. get one, its soooo much fun! maybe your gears are really short or too tight or sumthin. if you lighly press the gas (really light) does it jump? ive heard stuff about tps affecting throttle. but i dont know.
