Default Can u name this part?

Hey guys im fairly new to this and could use your help. As i was changing my waterpump the other day i noticed that one of my vacuum lines was cracked and needed to be replaced. But when i went to follow the line to where it was leading to it wasnt even attached to anything. I took a pic of it. But for some reason i cant figure out how to post in on this thread. Anyways i'll try and describe it to you. Its a vacuum line running from the upper intake to ?. The line is right above the cap and rotor if that helps.

To post a picture click manage attachment then browse, select the picture you want then upload.

Does your car still have the vacuum hose routing on it? You may have to trace the hoses back to the motor till you find the one unhooked. What color was the hose?

Its a black hose and it does have the hose still on the part of the upper intake. The other end of the hose is just hanging freely. Also im not seeing this manage attachment. Is it because i only have a couple posts that it wont allow me to post any pics????

Might have been an extra hose left over from the explorer that the intake came off from. I know when I did the swap the explorer intake had quite a few extra vacuum lines. Might be more underneath.

Sounds like the vacuum hose for the CANP (CANister Purge) solenoid.

Canister purge hooked up? If not it may be the right side high speed rendezicator hose.
