Default [b]shifter question[/b]

I went to put in a tri-ax shifter today and noticed that the far bolts were covered by the console... did you guys pull it back to install???

The back bolts are a huge Bit*h to loosen and tighten
I didnt remove anything but the shift boot, and the plastic grey peice over the boot.
Its a tight fit, but you just gotta do it and try not to break anything [8D]

Ya it sux. I cut out notches for each bolt. Or dont be lazy and take out your center console. I perfer the lazy way
