annoying vibration on freeway...please help
#11
BTW....does anyone know if I need to raise the rear by the frame and NOT by the rear axle(how i do it). I heard you have to do it by the frame, so the rear hangs down allowing the room to remove it.
Thanks everyone, I'll update when u joints are replaced.

You can easily deduce the problem before of after the clutch.
Get it to the point where it vibrates. They repeat the test in a lower gear, same speed.
If the vibration get faster, concentrate your efforts on the engine.
If it stays the same with the engine running faster, from the transmission back.

Jfsram, your right, the vibration was pretty much the same in every gear around the same rpms.
Oh yea, the bad joint was the one at the transmission. One bearing cap on the joint turned to dry and was full of rust. I heard the joint in the rear is the one that usually goes out.
