Default a t-5 shift fork "?"

well it's kind of a dumb question, but i just want to make sure before i put the trans back in......on the shift forks, is all you have to do is line the whole up on the end of the shaft straight up and down and then put the shift forks on to the gears? or is there some kind of weird method? i just don't want to put this in and it not shift properly.

let me know if you can.....i know my explanation isn't quite right but i don't know all the part names.

Say what??????Hes talking about the shifter forks not the clutch forks[&:]And he thought you just helped him[:-]The shifter fork will only slide in in one spot on the gears put it on and see if it shifts fine while its out of the car if it does its right
