1983 Mustang wont do anything when key is turned.

Okay, I spent almost 5 hours working on the car the past 2 days...
I've got power to the ignition switch now. I've had to replace a few fusible links and re-run one or two wires...
Still not starting or cranking over.
I'm only using 3 terminals on the starter solenoid.
There is indeed electric current from the ignition switch going to the starter solenoid on the terminal "S". (The test light, lights up when the key is turned)
Why wont the engine turn over?
Also there is a steady 12v current going to the Ignition Coil, but I seem to be unable to get a spark at the spark plugs!
What could be going wrong here? I just replaced the ignition control module!

The previous owner had the starter solenoid grounded to a piece of plastic on the side of the inner fender. Then he had the three wires running to the distributer hooked up backwards. Orange to black, green to orange, and black to green. So I hooked them up correctly. I got it to turn over and spark!
I plugged in the fuel pump line that was cut and then the engine started. A few seconds later it started making a loud knocking noise.
