Default timing chain cover ???

ok been told my 95 engine has bigger timing chain cover then earlier motors ??? but im gettin ready to buy a engine out of a 90 gt ... but since those covers are diff sizes or what ever am i gonna have any probs with my brakets bolting up or belts lining up or anything ? and also im doing away with smog and ac pump . does anyone know what size belt i need ?

everything will bolt right up but you will have to use your timing cover and water pump off your 95

ok thanks ... i wasnt plannin on changing that stuff but guess gotta do what gotta do lol ... . now i jus need try find out what size belt and diagram to use on car with out smog and ac pump .

take a piece of string, wrap it around the pulleys, take the length to parts store and ask for a belt that length

Yeah as stated the motor will have no problems but you will need to use all the front end assembly off your 95 motor to install it, the 93 and back front end is completely different as you will soon see when you get your 90 motor.

well the motor baught found out was out of a 88 but baught engine and mac h pipe for 300 wich didnt think was bad . so my brackets will bolt up to that motor right ? and also whats firing order for 95 5.0.... im droppin motor n tomorrow ..
