Clutch starter saftey switch
A couple years ago a friend and I did a aod to t5 swap. I installed the clutch pedal and I found what I think is the wires for the clutch saftey switch. I plugged them in. It seemed like they didnt snap all the way in. I dont know. Is there anything specail I need to do to make the switch work correctly? and when starting do you need the clutch in at all times or can u be in nutral with the clutch out and start it?

RE: Clutch starter saftey switch
I think that's all you need to do. Does it not react how it should? I probably would guess that you tested it by seeing what happens with it plugged in and with it unplugged. I bypassed mine by cutting them and twisting it together to bypass the switch for a remote start system. It will start without the clutch it. And yes, I triple check that it's in neutral everytime I get out of the car. And I have a switch to turn off the remote start just incase someone else messes with it or needs to drive it. Hold, on, did I say, "incase someone else needs to drive it"??? Yeah right. What the hell was I thinking....
