Default Bearing kit...

Sup guys I need some advise, Im getting ready to put in my new gears and was wonder do I really need a bearing kit in doing this?

well the bearings really depend if you have lots of miles on your car... i would just to be safe if you really dont want to spend the money you can always pull the rear end apart and check them and if there bad replace them but it mike take a few days to get the bearings that all depends on how much time you have. Advice wise go to http://www.corral.net/tech/drivetrain/gears.html they have likea 16 page guide that will explain it better then i can.

nope.. i have 143,000 miles.. i didnt replace any bearings, hell with it..

i sure didnt and sure wouldnt. no reason to spend that money and have premature wear and later on cost money. its better to do it right the first time then half *** something and have to pay more later on...........but to each their own
