You can add a squirt of oil to the low cylinder and retest, if the compression increses likely the piston rings or cracked piston. If it stays the same, probably a head gasket or valve. Be careful, use only a small amount of oil, it is not compressionable, not sure that is a word. Excess oil could lock up your engine or break something.[/QUOTE]
what he said. but it does sound like you need to pull the head to see what is gone on. once you get it off you should be able to see whats gone on.

Im going to pull the heads off but first I need to prove to a judge that the mechanic did something wrong when they change the intake. So Im thinking its best if I leave it like that so the mechanic wont blame me for anything. Im hoping the judge makes him pay for everything cuz my car wasn't like that when I dropped it off.

Ok I got good news two of the wires were cross. Now we are checking if the timing is right, but wrong timing can that cause the compression to be low from one side only, please help. And reading what I got what should I set my timing at.

Just an update on these thread. When I open up the motor there was four of the top rings on the same side broken. So I got all new forged Pistons and rings, also got everything balanced. Finally got the motor turned on. My question is now that it turned on what should I do dyno tune, dyno tune with a chip, a dyno tune with a programmer or should I just run it normal for a amount of miles before any of those things done to it. And which ever you'll advised please explain why, just want to learn more about how that helps the car
