Default 5.0 Heater by-pass lines (metal).

How are the metal by-pass lines removed from the lower intake? It appears that the lines are held in place and the lower part of the fitting is turned out of the intake. Is that correct? Or will that damage the fittings? I did RTFM and found nothin on this.

Thanks in advance.

there are 2 studs that hold the line to the intake.remove those first then you can undo the fitting out of the intake
