Default Hydraulic flat tapped lifters

i just bought a mild cam and was wondering do i (need) to buy new lifters as well?

well the operating range for the cam is 1500-5000 is that going to work with the stock converter

any cam will work with most convertors, will they be rockets off the line with a mismatch??....most likely not but in your case 1500 starting is not much above stock if at all...heck an h.o roller cam will out do that sissy flat tappet cam

If you are installing a flat tappet camshaft, aside the need for new lifters + longer pushrods, keep in mind how important it is to add a zinc additive to the oil for the break-in procedure.

Additives, oil and break in procedure are critical on flat tappets.
