Engine misfiring stock 5.0

Totally stock '90 5.0 is misfiring/stuttering intermitantly while driving. Code read shows EGR problem, fuel pressure reads 38 lbs at idle. Any suggestions?

what code?? and has car had a full tune up recently??

code 34, tuned up about 2000 miles ago

check and make sure the egr valve pintle is seated/ not stuck partially open by carbon

Thanks for the advice

I didn't think the EGR had that much effect on anything. I'll try that first.

egr if open at idle simulates a vaccum leak and can cause misfires, and or hesitations/ lean condition
