Steering rack

Does anyone know if the steering rack from the 5.0 is the same ratio as the 84 to 86 SVO? I have a SVO rack but it is 3" wider than the std Mustang.</P>

umm i dont think 5.0 and svo engine parts are interchangable like that clearence issues im thinking

the svo rack willnot work because of the turning radius is different. the svo suspension is off of i think like a lincoln so that is why evey thing is wider. the wheels are offset to the inside more to make it look right on the svo. wouild not use. i have a rack if you need one.
