how hot is hot?

Hey I was wondering what temp each letter on the temp gauge means...like...M=210? If anyone has any input please let me know. I was also wondering at what temp aluminum heads warp. One last question I promise, i was wondering if anyone has had to replace the hoses coming out of the heater core back into the motor. One of mine blew and i replaced it, but it has a kink cause i could not find a hose that would match at napa. I am thinking this is why my car has been running hot. Maybe a ford dealership.

get yourself a set of the blue highmailage hose...like 75.00 and they last about forever...also buy a set of gauge for the oil/temp..don't you want to know what they really are?.. also put in a 180 MR GASKET STAT..
