i have a completely stock 94' gt 5speed and first thing is it wont rev past 3200 rp, i have no clue what is wrong with it, the first thing i thought it could be was the spark plugs so i changed them out but still the same thing the car feels really sluggish and it rinks of fuel, oh and its getting terrible gas milage, i know it;s a 8cil but somethings wrong i had a 90 lx auto 5.0 that got better on gas, anyway any help would do, i hear some ppl say it's the cats,or the valve springs , the fuel filter, the fuel pump, the valve train but idk, oh and also the idle is a lil loopy and everything is stock! please help..

remove both of your O2 sensors from your exhaust and take the car out for a ride. See if it gets most of its power back.

If it does, your cats are ****ed

do what adder said and while youre in the fixing mood, new fuel filter, clean the MAF, new wires, and if you can try a vacuum test to see what it looks like.

if you dont know what to look for let us know, we can tell you what to so and look at it for you if you make a vid.

im in a good mood today for some reason so i feel like helping someone out (spending all day at FFR seems to do that lol)

Wow thanks guy for the help, i took the o2's off and it wasn't it the i figured i'd clean everything so i cleaned the MAF sensor and wham! that's the ticket! it runs like a champ bone stock sn95 and ran a 14.7 on the gtech i know its not accurate but it feels really good.
