turn signals stopped working
I took apart the bezel and intrument cluster to replace some bulbs behind the tach but i couldn't get to them so i put it all back together, but when i went to test everything out it all worked except the turn signals. the high-beem switches still work but when i put the stick up or down, nothing. The hazards still work so that rules out the fuze, could the stick have finally gone? in the process of removing the bezel it did get switched up and down a lot to get to the screws.

are they not flasing at all or just staying on? first just be sure that the bulbs are good. When one burns out it will stop flashing to let you know it is blown.
2nd - did you have the hazard lighs on while removing the display, bump it accidentally? The turn signals go through the hazards and the switch has a bad tendency to catch dust. when you push the switch it takes that dust and shoved it down into the contacts and will then interfere. All you need to do to fix this is push the botton 6-10 times and it will clean the dust out and everything will start to work again.
3rd - did you check any fuses? Don't even bother with the manual, just go and take the time to inspect all 12 fuses and it will take less time and you can be sure that while the manual said that the turn signals were on fuse 10 that for some reason fuse #2 was blown.

Correction, the side with a blown bulb will actually flash much faster than normal.
As asked though, do they come on and just stay? If so try replacing the flasher itself in the fuse box, if its original it's a good possibility it went. It's a cheap and easy fix. If they are just out, do check the fuses just to make sure, it's possible the flasher circuit is seperated but I'm not 100% sure on these cars.
Also if you disconnected anything, double check the connections and make sure they are properly secured and fully clicked in

When i flip the stick up or down it does nothing. a oragnish colored wire wasn't pluged into anything when i went to plug the hazard/defroster switch back in, i though that was the 12v switch for my temp. gauge that i have mounted outside the bezel, i will go see if that cable belongs in the switch, not the gauge, maybe that will help.

Ok, i got it fixed, it turns out when i took the hazard/defroster switch out it pulled a orange and yellow cable out, plugged it back in and worked fine, they actually blink at normal speed now too, they used to be real slow, i think getting unplugged and plugged back in cleared some dust out. Thank you guys, i had no clue they went through the hazard switch, i would've wasted money on a new stick and what not, thank ya'll so much.
