replacing gauges

has anyone ever replaced an instrument cluster?? My son has a 95 Gt and wants the "Cobra" white gauges...I was looking at a cluster removed from a cobra...can you change the odometer reading to match the existing one?...any other pitfalls I may encounter...any help is appreciated

you can use a drill to forward the mileage
