Ok I have an 89 GT that I want to put a SC 331 crate motor in, the problem i have is that im in the navy and im stationed in Guam......I cant really trust anyone to work on my car. Im gonna do everything myself I have some friends to help me and there is a hobby shop on base with every tool id need. But I dont know how hard it is to tune the car..........are they already tuned ready to be put in? Ive never done major tuning and they dont have a dyno on the island. What should I do?

I don't know if you already have your engine but check out this site. The engine's come already tuned and you get a video of your engine running on the dyno. I don't think the prices are that bad either. I do think most crate engines come ready to put in and run.

answer how does a motor come already tuned? tune is in the computer with some adjustments to the timing and Fuel

I thought maybe if you tell them your mods they can tune it to your specs???? It was just a guess, they could make it as close as possible so its easier for me to tune.......I just really need to find some way to build a motor. There is over 120k miles on my car so I didnt want to get a stroker kit.
