Quick Balancer question
#12
Alright so I will try and pull it on with the bolt i suppose. I thought it was easier to pull the threads out of the crank than you guys are saying.
Also I asked originally about the little pointed cap thing that comes with the puller. It seems like that would damage the first few threads on the crank. Is it safe to stick that in the hole or should I put the bolt in the crank without the washer and use the puller against that?

The puller is made at the right angle where it dosent damage the threads, when you get the balancer off look in the recess for the bolt and you will see why they use a washer!
you cant have anything between teh puller and crank unless its a smaller diameter of the balancer inner flange or you will be pushing against the balancer thus never getting it to move!
