Default fixing collector leaks

Does anyone have any recommendations for fitting the h pipe in such a way that the collectors wont leak. Is there a certain trick to getting things to line up properly or what? Thanks guys

Take it to a muffler shop and have them heat and bend the pipe/colectors until they line up. No trick.

Sorry I guess I should have specified. I have shorty headers, and I cannot seem to get the flanges to mate without a leak. Its a BBK midpipe and ford racing headers. Also I was trying to avoid taking it to an exhaust shop since all the garages around here are kind of shotty.

Hope this helps, what I did was drop my X pipe and egr tube, blow out both the stupid header studs (one was stripped all the way) with a plasma cutter, drill out the holes to a 7/16, then a 7/16 bolt with washers and lock washers, put X pipe and egr back together, problem solved. That fixed my problem. If you cant do that, then take it too an exhaust shop.

Alright I am going to just try and readjust the flanges by taking them both off again and making sure they go down nice and even. I have new hardware and everything to use. Thanks for the input guys.
