hard brake pedal.
Fresh build, new trans, smoothing out a few bugs, Car doesnt like to stop.
Both rear calipers seized within past year they're both new back there nothing is hangin up. But from lets say 45mph turning onto a side street. Average country road, pedal is hard really gotta push on it to stop. And when you use 2 feet to really wanna stop bc its that bad, its locking up random wheels.
It has abs. Light is intermitent. Sometimes on sometimes off. Brake booster appears to be corroded below MC like it was leaking at some time and the shock tower area is rusty. Def signs of brake leak between booster and MC.
But its dry. No leaks. Just evidence it has leaked before. Bendix is the brand on the booster...Vacuum is good. HVAC leak under dash I'm tracing but thats it. What gives? Common prob? bad booster?
Can i pull abs codes with snap on brick?

Replace the booster if its rusty it could loose vac there! what is the vac of the engine when running at an idle! anything under or around 5in, will make it difficult to stop!
I had this problem about 4 months ago and it was a vac problem, i had to pull on the steering wheel and push hard as i could to get the car to slowly stop!
