sluggish stang
Hey there fellas i am having a weird problem with my car, i am going to start from the beginning first of all my msd distributor went out because the car will just turn off by itself and wont turn on until i moved some cables in the engine compartment and then the car will turn on but then i removed the distributor and put in a stock one and that did the job now after that i bought new wires then put in my coil that i had taken off because i thought that was but it wasn't then my car will just lose power when ever i run the car at high rpm's 3000 rpm or higher it will pop and just be sluggish but if i turn off the car and turn it back on it will be fine and then it will become sluggish if i did the same thing again then i will remove my old msd box and connect regular and the car wouldn't do that so i bought an msd 6AL2 and it is doing the same thing i have ford racing wires changed spark plugs i dont know whats wrong anybody help.

The Popping is because the pistons are firing before they should. You could have mixed the wire up , put the distributor in one tooth off. Take it to someone that can look at what you got. There is no magic bullet or at least a solution that can be had by guessing at what's wrong with your car.
It's like saying "My car is missing" to that I would say, well go find it.

what plugs did you use ?
what gap ?
is your timing set correctly ? and i mean was the SPOUT removed b4 adjusting, then put in after ?
are you sure the firing order is correct and NOT crossfiring wire to wire ?
and are all the boots "snapped" on....not just suctioned on
