I have a ticking/tapping noise forming the valve cover I believe. Not too sure. The tapping is consistent with the rpm. I had change the lifters a month ago. Anyone have any idea what this sound is ?

How much lifter preload did you put on the lifters when installing the rocker arms ? Sounds like you might not have enough.

make sure a header gasket isn't leaking, most misdiagnose such as a lifter tap
