Car won't idle

And along with those instructions, they should also note that every engine has different requirements for air intake. When I bolted my Accufab on, my car idled at 1200RPM.
Factory calibration my ***... I had to remove the throttle blade, smooth the edges, and re-adjust it so it wouldnt get stuck in the bore. But what the hell do I know... Its not like ive ever built an engine before. So go ahead, do what you want! You seem to already have your mind made up.

You're obviously not much of a people person I guess. There's really no need to be so condenscending. Just because you were wrong in stating that I was misinterpreting the instructions from the manufacturer doesn't mean you have to get so angry. I'll be calling accufab later and seeing what their take is on the issue.

go right ahead... and a few months down the road when your car is still running like ***, I will be more than happy to show up wherever you need me to be, to fix your car by simply following the advise I have put in front of you.
I may not be much of a people person, but #1, DILLIGAS? #2 You read my statements completely out of context. #3, numerous people have found my information to not only be helpful, but accurate as well.
NO manufacturer can account for the subtle differences from engine to engine... thats why e-mail tunes are usually crap. But like I said, you seem to have made up your mind.
When you are done being ignorant to the facts, PM me, and I will talk you through the process step by step.

Well for whatever reason it won't let me send a PM, but I just called accufab and they said that the adjustment screw on my TB is only for centering the air gap around the butterfly, not for setting the idle(?). Besides that they weren't much help, they just told me to go through the base idle set up procedure without adjusting the screw.. which wouldn't do much considering I've already done that.

You do not yet have enough posts on the forum for the PM function to be active. I will put together a full write up for you. If you follow the directions to the letter, your idle problems should go away. If you still have issues, you may have an underlying mechanical problem. i.e. ECT sensor, MAF (if your car has been converted), MAP(BAP), O2, or vac leaks.

So my uncle who's a mechanic stopped by today and also said to adjust the tb so I said f it and decided to do it and what do you know.. Idle steady at 900 rpm. I'm kind of mad at accufab for telling it's customers that their idle stop screw won't do anything. Guess I should have just listened to the real experts the first time lol. Thanks for the input adder

I was going to set it at 750 but the car just seemed happiest at 900 for whatever reason. I also read that a lot of people have their cars with ecams idling around there so i figured what the hell and just left it alone. I may go back eventually and reset it.
