Default '83 8.8 swap?
Hey guys! New to the forums, but I need some help. I have an '83 GT with a crate 302, edelbrock 4bbl, and world class t5, the only stock part of the drivetrain was the rear end. Long story short, I completely destroyed the 7.5 (Spider gear fragments EVERYWHERE..) I was wondering, would an 8.8 from an 87-93 GT bolt in place of the stock 7.5? I'm going to the junkyard tomm to pull one if they do in fact swap in. Thanks for the help!
