Dont the tremec's you have to buy a new bellhousing and change the yoke on the driveshaft to make if fit or am I wrong and its a direct replacement.

I'm using a factory fox bell, and the same aluminum D/S i used with my factory T5.

I think the yoke issue is only with the 500/600

Do you have a part number for the 3550? Also does it come with a shifter since I know they are different?

Standard (260 0682R)
Standard II (TCET1376)
TKO (260 0708)
TKO II (TCET1377)

3550 is no longer made, I run a 3550 it is a good tranny, the 500/600 supercedes it
