Default BBK longtubes/BBK x pipe w/cats/ magnaflow exhaust

I was just wondering if anyone has this setup for their 5.0. Right now I just got magnaflow exhaust but i plan on getting the BBk longtube headers and the x pipe with cats. I live in california so im guessing the cats make the x pipe smog legal but, the longtubes arent lol. Oh well i don't have to smog it till june 2007. Anyways what kind of horsepower gain can i expect with that setup and how much of a drop in E/Ts?

I was under the impression that Long tube headers had a better flow than short tubes? Thinking about it in a mostly stock engine the difference in flow wouldnt be noticable, but once you larger TB, C/A intake MAF and Intake wouldnt you be looking into getting more free flowing exhaust so the engine can breath better?

Just what I was thinking

yea i'm just looking to make the car louder mostly, i might just get the x pipe, and get the headers later. Right now the magnaflow exhaust isnt very loud. Im guessing with the x pipe it takes off 2 of the cats and replaces the other 2 with high flow ones?

you dont need freaking LTs. its nto worth it right now. CAI isnt a real mod, TB isnt needed to you know the future of the car, MAF isnt needed to you know the future of the car. MAF isnt really going to add power like you think, Injectors dont add power like you think and a TB isnt going ot give you alot of HP either. they are all supporting mods

Quik you see id love to do internal motor mods and **** but here in california, you cant do much without making it smog illegal. Plus this motor already got 138k on it, so i just planned on doing all the bolt ons i can, then when i have to rebuild the motor id do internal stuff. The only motor parts that are really legal here is the trick flow intake manifold and the E303 cam. I'm not sure what else is really.

if youre not over 400hp then they arent really worth it. unequal shorties with an off road pipe flows very effiecent
