Diagnosis Help Needed

i have a 1991 foxbody 5.0 and today i was driving and punched the throttle hard enough to lift the front end a good 10 inches. i can't tell yet but it feels like something important is about to break. now as i normally accelerate there is a loss of about 500 rpm, and a vibration that feels like its straining the engine. i know it could be a variety of problems but im just looking for some ideas or places to start.

Normal body travel with weakened stock springs can be 10 in easy!

actually its right around 8 inches but 10 was a close guess.oh and thats from bottomed out on bump stops to fully extended
