My 89gt's gauges are all messed up. Does anyone know where to start if I wanted to fix them all?

Coolant temp: Never moves

Oil pressure: Moves one notch up from zero sometimes but then drops back to no-reading usually.

Gas gauge: Works until half way, then stops, but the low fuel light still works (meaning bad gauge?)

Is there anyone who knows of common culprits for these? I am knew here...but I want to know if I have more serious engine problems.

What is a sending unit? Is that what actually gets the signal in the first place?

The likelyhood of having 3 sending units bad at the same time, while possible, is very small. I'd be looking into gauge cluster wiring problems.

A bad ground or possibly cluster voltage regulator.
