Default aluminum drive shaft

i was looking to get one of these while i was doing gears? would that be a good idea? what are the advantages of having one? im not really sure heh. ne tips would be great. thx

they are lighter then the stock DS so you get a better transfer of power to the wheels

I wouldnt spend the money personally unless you get a really good deal cause they run in the high 200s. Their are better mods you can buy for your car with 200 dollars.

Unless you get a drivetrain vibration after the gear swap due to increase driveshaft speeds...personally there a great improvement,stronger,lighter,and also there is a noticeble decrese in vibrations,make's the car accelrate much more smoothly under WOT..great mod in my book.

I agree this is a great mod. anytime you can decrease rotating weight you get better throttle response. i didn't get to drive my 89 prior to the aluminum driveshaft; it was on there when i bought it.

Its a very strong part. Less rotational weight means less wear and tear on the other drivetrain parts. IMO don't get it until you need it. The universal joint in the stock D/S will enventually wear.
