BBK 8004 MAF for 88 stang
I have a project 88 stang with 5.0L engine.
Mods done:
Heads rebuilt and remachined, Edelbrock Performer RPM cam, BBK SSI series intake, 70 mm throttle body, 24lb injectors, cats removed but new O2 sensors, All other sensors replaced at same time.
Car starts and runs great when you give it gas, but rough idle and car bucks when trying to maintain steady speed (doesn't matter how fast). I asked a question here a while ago and everyone seemed to think it was the MAF not being calibrated for the 24 lbers. Got busy with work and finally got around to getting a BBK unit calibrated for it, but the plug in doesn't fit. Has anyone had this problem? I've contacted BBK but they haven't bothered to contact me back. My original MAF has a number of e8zf-12b579-aa on it.
Can anyone lead me to a manufacturer that can get me a calibrated MAF that plugs in or tell me which wires I have to place on which pins of this one to make it work correctly?
Thanks

The problem that you are having is directly related to the fact that you have an 88. It was the only year to use the connector that you have. Your only option is to grab a maf harness out of a 89+ and splice it into your car.
