I'm looking for a 5.0 Mustang, EFI, Preferably 5spd, wrecked, totaled, or any other reason the price would be low aside from a bad engine. I'm wanting to swap the Motor into another car and need everything for this swap intact (engine of course, harness, ecu, fuel lines, fuel pump, ignition, starter, transmission [if 5spd] ect).If i haven't replyed to this thread within a few days, E-mail me, send me a message on AIM (both in profile), or leave a message on my cell phone (812-240-1674). The car i'd like to besomewhat drivable and i'd like it to be within 200 miles of Terre Haute, IN.

$500 is damned cheap for all that. I don't know about Mustangs, but with imports you can usually expect to pay at least a couple grand for the engine and ecu, let alone the tranny, axles, and all the rest.

Found a donor car. Strong running EFI Grand Marquis in good shape for $450. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Couldn't be any worse than the Mazda transmission currently in the car. Synchros? what's that? <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">
