Engine missing when hot

Okay, so I am about to buy a '90 Mustang 5.0. It is having a mechanical problem where it is missing/mis-firing when it is hot out. When it is cool out it runs fine. The seller says that it's the computer or harness. What's going on here? Thanks guys.

Missing a bunch as we in the tarheel state are only a 1/4 mile from hell with this heat stay we got. PIP or ignition module are suspect.
