Default sway bar links

so i went to pull my old rack out today and noticed the brand new sway bar links i put are bent. what in the hell would cause this

what kind of end links did you buy.did you tighten them up with the car at ride height or did you tighten them up with the wheels at full droop

i bought the energy ones i tighten them up with the car on the ground

The original design of the sway bar system forces the lower end of the link to travel in an arc. Polyurethane bushings do not compress all that much. So they force the long bolt to bend.

ive had energy suspension end links on my car for 2 years and havent had a bit of problem with them.car also sees full range of suspension travel too

so any ideas on way they bent i would hate to go buy new ones and they bend again

Try not to tighten them until the bottom out on the sleeve.
This will compress them a tiny bit less, allowing for some misalignment.

Or go back to the factory rubber set up. Neither is good advice when handling is the priority but it will put a little less stress on the long bolt.
