Default Is my car running lean?

Hey guys I just got done reading a post in the General Tech about some symptoms of some guy's car running lean. I just thought of this now but yesterday, the engine was cold, it was pretty warm out side and I start it up and it takes some cranking to get it started up, so I thought it might have just been being wierd. Well I go down to my buddy's house and I park it and we leave to go somewhere and it does it again (takes like 4-5 seconds to start up when it usually takes like 1). I'm just wondering if something's beginning to go wrong or I'm running lean, thanks guys and help me out here!

turn the key to the run position for a few seconds then try it, sometimes on older cars it takes a while for all the sensors to say "ok run" when you turn it to the run position it will also turn the fuel pump on and it may take a few seconds to build fuel pressure

Mine does that sometimes too, I don't think its anything to be worried about. Sometimes it will start right up, and other times it will take a few seconds.

The best way to tell if you're lean is to have the A/F ratio checked. Otherwise you're just guessing based upon symptoms/signs.

Never mind guys, it stopped doing it, I always wait for the pump to turn on though.

How long does it usually take for the computer to correct itself and adjust to the mod?
