well i bought used gears had them professionally installed and they Whine like CRAZY its so annoying i recommend buying new gears cause believe me the whining will drive u mad. i am saving up for new gears and then i have to dish out another 200 some odd dollars to have done all over again.

see not all pros know what they are doing. and just cause someone is paid t odo something doesnt make them a pro

if gears are installed right they wont have much wear or none at all

its half assing something when you dont replace things that should be. its like getting new rotors but using old pads, like adding new springs but keeping stock shocks.

also with gears there is sometimes adjustments that need to be made for the pinnon. if you over tighten that pinnion the rear will fail. also the rear pinion has a crush sleave which should be replace any time its unloaded. should i go on? do it right the first time. you can rebuilt the traction lok and not have to worry bout the bearings but since you are doing gears you should do new bearings
