Hey guys, school's started and I do not have the money and time to put gears in and I was wondering what my next mod should be to the stang. I was thinking either pulleys, MAF, control arms... Maybe some suggestions. Subframes are out of the question too because they are cheap and I'm bidding on some right now.

^^^^^[sm=icon_beat.gif].......Gears would be by far the best mod for you as of now...but since you can't get them maybe look into a converter...And if you change you mind i have a set of gears for sale now..And there just perfect for you.

heads are my next mod! ahhh, cant wait. trick flow is dynoed atleast 60hp on mine, add a new manifold and you get big hp.

I can't wait to get subframes, I think I'll see a huge difference especially out here on these dirt roads. Gears are definantelly next, I think I can do them, I've got another vehicle I can drive.

Gears are great, I didnt relize How easy they are to install go for it, I got mine for 140 on 50restore.com.

if your not wanting to do the gears now i would recommend getting the control arms since there an easy install and we all know how mustangs have issues with hooking up

Are they really that easy? I'm really close to buying them and a trac loc rebuild kit, will I be able to get them done this weekend? What is my top speed going to be with 4.10s?

top speed is low.. i always understood that ur top speed wouldnt really change with gears, but i know im going through the 1/4 mile at 5grand in fourth, and thats 95 mph. so top speed about 100ish? thats with 3:73s, doesnt sound right...but thats what it is
