Default Question about wiring the cooling fan

Would I have any problems if I just unplugged the cooling fan and just ran the high speed off of a switch in the car? Not sure if it would mess anything up.

My 88 has the electric cooling fans run direct to a switch in my console. works fine for me, just make sure all the wiring is run correctly.

Thanks for the advice, but I have heard from a few people that completely bypassing the ccrm could damage it, don't really know to much about the electrical aspect of it and if I knew %100 that it would work I would just do that, lol. But once again, thank you for your input, every little bit helps know what i mean.
