The pic is just for reference to my question.

I have a 93 V8. My original calipers have gone to the rebuilders. Cores are no longer available to compare.

The rebuilders gave my calipers and pads. Does not fit my car.
My original pads look different. The 2 holes for the pins completely surround the pin. A full complete hole. The replacement stuff, is like the picture above. The holes are so close to the edge, it's cut out. Only surrounds the pin like 190 degrees.

So before I go freak out in at the rebuilders shop. I need verification as to whether they gave me incorrect parts for my car.

a pic of what they gave you would be helpful.........also, reman calipers ready to go aren't that expensive....just wondering why you opted to rebuild yours??

These are remans. I suspect a pair of V8 ones were purchased and the customer returned 4 cyl cores. They rebuilt them and sold them to the next sucker who tried to bolt them on a v8 car.

Another problem is the pads to not fit the piston nor does the pin fit through the holes in the outer pad. The retainer clip to piston is loose.
