your right about pic1- pic 2 is for your pcv, on my intake the vacuum hose is connected to that nipple at the end of the hose there is a tee, one side goes to the pcv, the other side goes to the bottom of the cross section of the upper intake

The thing is about these intakes is that (explorers mainly) the vacuum ports are slightly different from year to year.

All that is needed to be hooked up is the: Source, FPR, PCV, Charcoal canister, Emissions block, then the MAP sensor if your speed density..

Do you have a flat pic of the underside of your intake so we can make a diagram for you? For some reason I have having a hard time finding such a simple pic.

whats the PM stand for? o an i got the vacuum lines from the upper intake correct now ..runs better but my idle still a bit ruff i think its something with my timing got new spark plug wires an redid my timing an when i have the plug that allows the computer to advance the timing unpluged the idle stays good an doesnt really bounce when i stay at idle..the plug im talking about connects at the distributor i forget the name of it but i heard its ok to run without it but i noticed major loss of power with it unplugged an at the right timing set SO i jus advanced my timing to get my power back is that ok to daily drive with? an if my idle bounces/drops to like 600rpm when the plug is in does that mean i need a new/dif computer?

PM= private messages.....

Did you pull your distributor when you swapped your intake? The plug is called the spout connector. If it worked before you swapped then it should work now. That means you did something wrong. You need to figure that out then do a base idle reset as well most likely.
