possible heater core issue?

do you smell anti freeze inside the car? easiest way to diagnose a heater core problem....

I know what to look for, but my drive to work lasts less than 10 minutes, so far no I haven't, but I also barely use my vents. My main reason for thinking it as of now is the draining from inside the car, that and my coolant level did go down.

There would be no escaping the smell if it was there no matter how short a drive. You might be lucky and it not be the core.

there would be if the leak were still small, or if it just happened right before making it home. Would be awesome if it weren't the core, but there's nothing else that makes sense. I didn't fix it yet, and I plan to drive it tomorrow so ill see if maybe it were a false alarm

mine done the same as yours.when i opened up the heater box to remove the heater core,the box had some antifreeze laying in the bottom of it.
