86 trans problems
ok i have a 86 with a stock t-5 trans and a stock engine. sometimes when i shift hard into 2nd it will grind when it first goes in it. but it wont stop and continue to grind, it will just do it for a like half a second when i bang the gear. the same thing will happen to 4th. It doesnt happen all the time. can anyone tell me what the issue is? im pretty sure im pushing the clutch in all the way too

BLOCKER RINGS NEED REPLACING AND POSSIBLEY THE GEAR for the above mentioned, meaning 2 & 4 WHEN TRANS IS APART the snycronizing teeth built on to those gears need to be inspected for being mushroomed flat from crashing the gears, they should be sharp and pointy like a roof top, also internal engauging teeth on sliders coresponding to those gears should be inspected.
