Speedo cable disconnect???

Speedo cable disconnect???
Could any body tell me how u disconnect the speedo cable from the gauge cluster for an 85. I think they r the same for 79'-86' at least similar. im putting in a white face gauge kit

To disconnect the speedometer cable you must undo the dash on the drivers side and there is a retaining clip that holds the speedometer cable into the back of the speedometer, pull out the clip and the whole cable just slides right out.
