Just picked up a 93 5.0 Vert with 161k miles. I haven't much experience with Fords so I thought I'd ask here. Sometimes I'll push the clutch in to stop at a traffic light and it will idle @ 1500 rmp, 2000, or even once or twice it's idled at 2500. I thought it was a dirty TB but doesn't seem any different after cleaning. Any ideas? TIA.....Al

I had a idle problem that went real high and then dropped down and it came out to be the throttle boddy sensor

is it right hand clutch or left hand clutch?

Since yours is EFI, this point is probably mute. But, I have noticed on mine '82 that I needed to change the spring on the throttle because it would sometimes not push the push itself all the way closed. Just an idea to check. I am not to familiar on the EFI's though
