Default No power Brakes

Alright guys, shoot me places to chase for not having power brakes.

Heres symptoms:

Hisses when i apply the brakes pedal goes to the floor where it finally applys the manual brakes.....

Replaced the Booster Check valve, and when i pulled it out i got vacuum. so the old valve wasn't bad, but i replaced anyways.

tryin to figure it out. shoot me ideas. thanks guys!!

Does the pedal get hard if you pump it a bunch of times?

(Only answer the question, don't give any other bull**** details that I didn't ask for)

alright. but did you notice if your booster was still holding vacuum? mine does hold vacuum (when you pull out the check valve it releases) so thats my concern with just replacing the booster.

any other componants i can double check before i just toss a booster at it?

If the pedal doesn't get hard, you dont have a vac assist issue. Check your lines and wheel cylinders for leaks. add more fluid, and bleed the system.

I'm not grumpy... I just hate when people add in a bunch of retarded information that as no bearing on the actual issue.

Which is why I now have to put directions with my posts.

lol i get ya. nah when i'm on a forum i'm always straight to the point and only post info thats relevant. posting about how my rear tires feel doesn't help you determine why my brakes don't work well lol.

Now, quick thought, do you think it could be my rear drums are adjusted properly??? i'm going to replace the springs and shoes anyways. but until pay day think that could cause my issue??

when you open up the drums, peel back the rubber boots on the wheel cylinders. If they look wet at all, replace them.
